June Committee News - Notice of AGM 7/8/22

Firstly, notice of our AGM which is coming up on Sunday August 7th. The meeting is usually held immediately prior to a club night but this year the evening will take the form of a party night to include food, drink and entertainment as this also marks our first anniversary of being in our new clubrooms. In advance of the AGM we are looking for a new (or old!) person to come forward to be our Club Secretary. As well as this we would like to hear from someone with an interest in social media who could help us out. If you have either of these skills, please approach Carole or Bernadette or email the Club on info@nefc.org.nz .

We are excited that our new website is almost ready for its launch! Our subcommittee has been working closely with Core Developments and they have done a great job to produce a new and vibrant look for us. Once launched, the website will continue to be developed further and your feedback will be welcomed. Keep an eye on the Newsletter for more info.

 One other item of news is an investigation into electronic ticketing options for future concerts as more and more of our travelling guests are enquiring about this option. This could mean that club members could also pre-book tickets online and not have to pay at the door. We will, of course, retain that option for those who like to bring cash on the night. Please remember though that we also have EFTPOS available for entry to save you having to go to the bank on the way to Opoho. Just ask the duty door person if you’d like to use this facility.
