We have a range of events on our calendar...
Sunday Club Night: a feature concert every week (apart from some holiday weekends) 7.30 pm. Floorspot performers often invited from local musicians in the first half. Cafe and bar open. See notes on each night for featured performers or events.
Thursday Open Mic Night: a warm welcome to all, 7.30 pm. Gold coin entry. Cafe open.
Special Concerts - may be scheduled on other nights
Our venue for club events is the Opoho Bowling Club rooms, 80 Lovelock Avenue, North Dunedin
In the current covid climate, some may wish to wear a mask when up and moving around.
The Shields
The return of the family Shields - aka Mum & Sons. Not seen together on stage since those heady, pre-covid days of 2018, Eugene, Max and Lindsey have a new repertoire of favourites to share - cover versions which may or may not resemble the original.

Since both of Eugene and Max's parents were musicians, there were always musical instruments available in the house. Now and then, they even picked them up! Both became involved in music at school, particularly during their time at Mt Aspiring College where Lindsey was teaching and establishing the music department. Eugene and Max played in various cover bands during their time in Wanaka and after they moved to Dunedin to study. Both are songwriters and have played together in the band "Horatio" performing Max's original songs. Eugene is currently Head of Music at Otago Girls' High School. Max does something geeky with spreadsheets which may or may not be musical. Lindsey has made TV and radio appearances as well as being a guest at folk festivals and clubs in NZ and overseas. She has been a member of several local bands and has produced two solo albums of her original songs.
They will be joined on this occasion by drummer and honorary Shields family member for the night, Bobby Sarginson.
